The President of Russia Vladimir Putin thinks that the law-enforcement agencies underestimated the danger of the splash of crimes owing to xenophobia, racial, national and religious hostility.
"The activity of extremist groupings becomes more aggressive, it acquires rigid forms" stated Putin on Friday at the extended session of the board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs RF.
"We should admit that the law-enforcement agencies underestimated the danger of this phenomenon. And thus far they did not know how to react setting up the successful and system work on warning of conflicts on the ethnic and religious basis" said the President.
