Armed Forces have to most Russian citizens` (64%) credit, many of which (55%) are sure, that in case of external military threat Russian Army will be able to defend their Motherland. Those who don`t trust Russian Armed Forces and doubt their power constitute less than a third of the interviewed by the sociologists of the company "Bashkirova and partners" before the Day of Motherland Defenders, commemorated in Russia on February 23. The general problems of Russian armed forces are considered non-manual relation (58%), lack of financing (25,7%), low wages of the officers (23,5%), low prestige of military profession in the society (21,3%) and others.
