The owner of "Brewing Association "Krasny Vostok - Solodovpivo", OJSC Airat Khairullin and President of Efes Beverage Group Ahmet Boyacolu has concluded the sale-and-purchase agreement concerning 92,34% of shares of the OJSC to the amount of $364 million, informs the officials of the Association. For this transaction financing Efes Breweries International and Anadolu Efes have attracted a bridge-credit of Citibank and HSBC to the amount of $500 million. The company is scheduling to refinance the credit in the current year, using for it various financial instruments. "Krasny Vostok`s" production capacities constitute 100 million decaliters of beer a year. the company owns 2 breweries in Kazan and Novosibirsk, and 3 malting plants in Kazan with production capacities of 93 thousand tons a year. Turkish company estimates the share of "Krasny Vostok" on Russian market at the level of 3%. At present Efes owns 3 brewing plants in Russia, these are plants in Moscow, Rostov-on-Don and Ufa, and a malting plant in Moscow.
