By refined data, number of dead as a result of Basmanny market roof collapse has increased to 64 people. During clearance of obstructions rescuers found 63 dead, one person died after hospitalization. At present moment 22 people remain in hospital. Moscow Office of Prosecutor instituted criminal proceedings according to article 109 part 3 of Russian Criminal Code (causation of death to 2 or more people by carelessness) and article 293 part 3 (criminal negligence). Violation of building exploitation and non-observance of safety measures by market administration are also examined as versions. At present moment over half of obstructions are cleared.
