In the Moscow area since 1 March it will become more expensive to trip in public and rail transport. The decision about an increase in the fare was accepted two weeks ago at the session of the provincial government. As the deputy chief of the government of Moscow region - minister of transport Peter Katsyv previously reported, the cost of single passage around the city on the public transport will increase from 10 to 12 rubles. The fare beyond the limits of the city will be levied depending on distance at the zonal tariffs. Cost of monthly ticket for the passage in the bus, trolley bus or tram in the limits of one city will be 420 rubles for the month, quarterly - 1110 rubles, annual - 4150 rubles. Monthly ticket for two forms of transport will cost 680 rubles. According to Katsyv, 50-percent reduction to the tickets remains for the students and the schoolboys. The cost of monthly tickets for the organizations will be 570 rubles per month for the passage in the bus, trolley bus or tram; or 980 rubles for the passage in two forms of transport. The cost of united social ticket to the passage in the transport of general use will be 170 rubles per month. Katsyv also reported, that "since 1 March, 2006, the cost of single ticket to the passage in rail transport of suburban traffic will grow by 15% and will be 9 rubles 20 kopecks for the zone". According to him, for the children at the age from 5 to 10 years the cost of single ticket and monthly subscription ticket of "weekend" is established in size of 25% of the cost of complete ticket. Child at the age of up to 5 years passenger has the right to transport with himself free of charge. On the decision of Moscow government, marginal coefficient of 1,5 to the zonal tariff is established for determining the fare in the electric trains of the increased comfort.
