Capital airports Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetevo operate in regime of actual weather because of powerful snowstorm in Moscow, reported representative of Central control service. "Pilots-in-command make decision about landing on their own. At present moment visibility in Vnukovo is 900 meters, in Sheremetevo - 1400 meters, in Domodedovo - 300 meters but airplanes flying to Domodedovo are not sent to reserve aerodromes. Moreover, airports are not closed down. All arrivals and departures are on time, without delays", - said representative of central control service. Special snow clearing equipment works on runways and turn-off strips of capital airports. "In case of snowstorm intensification additional special technique will be used in airports", - added representative of control service.
