Kamchatski trawler "Khrabovo" was detained by sea frontiers for violation of fishery rules in Russian waters of Japan Sea.
By information of Frontier administration of Russian Federal Security Service over Primorsky krai, "Khrabovo" trawler was detained the day before after illegal large crab catch was found in ship holds.
"Alive crabs were found in tanks with sea water. Over 1200 alive crabs recognized viable by ichthyologist were released to the sea", - noted the source.
A captain of the ship couldn`t present permission for crab fishing to the frontiers.
"Trawler-infringer arrived to Nakhodka port under escort of frontiers for investigation. Court examination by fact of poaching has started on Thursday", - noted representative of administration.
