4 tourists were covered by snow avalanche on March 8 in suburbs of Vydrino settlement of Buryat republic. As press-service of administration of Emergency Ministry over Irkutsk oblast reported, 2 people were rescued. Other 2 Frenchmen died in avalanche. 19 foreigners under guidance of 2 Irkutsk instructors were jumping from helicopter on snowboards. The tourist group was registered in Baikal search-rescue department on March 6 by "Baikal Hotel" company. 11 rescuers were prepared for flight to place of accident but help of Emergency Ministry officials was not required. Rescue operation was realized by own forces of tourists. Evacuation of the dead will be held on March 9 by forces of Sludyansk unit of Baikal search-rescue department.
