In summer, the EU and the United States were introduced sectoral punishment against Moscow. They limit the export to the Russian Federation of products for the oil industry, specifically equipment for deepwater oil production and work in the Arctic.
The newest restrictions will put restrictions not only on delivery to the Russian Federation of products for the oil field, but on the exchange of technology and sentences in it. As we reported by Bloomberg, in the case of the introduction of the EU penalties against Moscow, America is going to come out with a similar list of restrictive measures.
The latest package of penalties can significantly extend the previously adopted measures in respect of products dual-use and sensitive technologies. The Western news media, under penalty will be domestic public firms with a turnover of more than a trillion rubles (more than 20 billion euros), half of which is revenue from the sale and transportation of oil. Then they will not be able to implement in the oil market own shares and bonds and to obtain loans. The measures are expected to affect the company "Rosneft", "Gazprom Neft" and "Transneft".
