The stop mode of fire, established in the South-East of Ukraine, was used by Kiev to increase the concentration of the armed forces in the region. This shows how specifically the Ukrainian authorities refer to the beginning of the peace process in the country.
Kiev, apparently, does not expect the final resolution of the incident that broke out in Ukraine, unusually peaceful method. So, instead take advantage of the truce in the first place diplomatic relations with the followers of Donetsk and Lugansk national republics, Kiev decided to throw in the region of several hundred armored vehicles, well trained military forces.
"Have no right to say a specific number, but I can assure you: hundreds of armored vehicles for these days came to the front. And thousands of trained troops are better prepared than in 1st days, currently undergoing rotation" - quoted by TASS Advisor to the President of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko. Such statements made in addition adept of the Council of national security and defense
Ukraine Andriy Lysenko. He stressed that the declared truce allowed the Kyiv security forces to regroup, and to restructure the companies of the defense industry and to complete the third wave of mobilization.
The view that the truce will need to use for building up military forces and prepare for the opposition, is quite common among Ukrainian politicians. President Petro Poroshenko said that Kiev must effectively apply the ceasefire,
to significantly improve the defensive buildings and to increase the combat readiness of the army.
It was also suggested that "Ukraine has transferred the economy on a war footing and gives everything to the Ukrainian army was stronger." In the peace process Kiev, apparently, not interested.
