After Kiev officially ceased to pay their own social obligations in the Donbass and turned the whole economic activity of the inhabitants of Donetsk and Lugansk national republics have to rely on the efforts of the economy of the young republics. Energy Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Demchyshyn reported that despite the lack of fuel and energy crisis, which is power, Kyiv does not intend to purchase coal from the militia. Fuel, however, it is necessary for Ukraine, but it is planning to just take it away from the warehouses of Donbass without paying.
The Ministry of fuel and energy complex of Donetsk national Republic stressed that they do not intend to without rhyme or reason to give up their own fossil fuel reserves. Coal, according to them, will be realized and the proceeds of the cash will go to salaries of miners that Kiev did not pay since the summer.
In addition, the energy Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Demchyshyn confirmed that he wants to discuss with the Russian side the import of thermal coal. He added that in such difficult conditions for balancing the grid without electricity imports will not do. Virtually no political interests will not be able to provide this effect. Demchyshyn added that imports must begin in the near future.
About rolling blackouts, the Minister stated that in the foreseeable future he will meet with city administrations, especially in sectors that consume significant amounts of energy. He'll try to negotiate with them about the rejection schedule outages and the transition to voluntary limits.
