The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Vitaliy Yarema expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the regional Prosecutor's offices in the framework of investigations concerning peaceful protests in Ukraine, informs on Tuesday, the press service of the Ministry reported.
According to the press service, Tuesday, chaired by Yarema held a teleconference meeting with the heads of the Prosecutor's offices of the regional level. The meeting was also attended by the deputies of the Prosecutor General and the heads of structural departments of the GPU.
" The Prosecutor General of Ukraine expressed categorical dissatisfaction with the performance of a number of regional prosecutors on investigation of criminal enterprises connected with peaceful protests and counter bribery. Special notes regarding the poor performance of the General Prosecutor expressed the heads of prosecutors ' offices, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Mykolaiv, Odesa and Chernivtsi regions ", - informs the press-service.
the meeting also heard reports of the Directors of the regional Prosecutor's offices to increase productivity investigation of crimes connected with peaceful protests by Residents, ensuring an adequate level of bribery.
" The situation in the regions should significantly change in the near future. In case of dynamic changes will not happen, I will take drastic disciplinary decisions, as well as among them personnel ", - noticed Yarema.
following the meeting, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine gave a few orders, for example, on return of completed criminal proceedings associated with peaceful protests.
