The chief Prosecutor's office suspects the mayor of Kharkiv Gennady Kernes hooliganism, informs Ukrainian printed referring to the General Alexei Bahanets.
"Investigators were in Kharkov, Kernes already familiar with the case, not reviewed only one of his lawyers" - quoted print edition of Bahanets.
About new materials in the Kernes a few days ago said the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin. Kharkiv mayor and his 2 guards blamed for the kidnapping and beating of participants "euromayday" in March of last year.
If guilt Kernes prove, he faces five to ten years of imprisonment.
