The Ukrainian authorities will make the National Agency for lustration problems
The Ukrainian authorities intend to make the National Agency problems lustration, said at a press conference on Tuesday, the Minister of justice Pavel Petrenko.

in mid-September of last year, the Parliament of Ukraine with the 3rd attempt blessed the lustration law. As he said at the time the attorney General Vitaly Yarema, the law contradicts the Constitution and the requirements of international law. in early March the Supreme court of Ukraine sent to the constitutional court (CC) of the country, a view that asks court to declare unconstitutional the provisions of the law "about the cleansing Power" in parts of the automatic resignation of bureaucrats for what they were in office during the reign of former President Viktor Yanukovych.

"We agreed with the experts of the Venice Commission regarding the establishment of an independent body to deal with lustration in Ukraine. This will be the National Agency for problems lustration, " said Petrenko.

in addition, Petrenko expressed the hope that the constitutional court of Ukraine does not make the decision regarding the constitutionality of certain provisions of the legislation about the cleansing Power as long as long as its provisions will not be assessed by the Venice Commission.

Lustration of Power was one of the requirements of participating in the mass protests that took place across the Maidan from the end of November 2013 to March 2014, which led to the coup in Ukraine. In the framework of the so-called lustration process has already dismissed most of the officials who worked under the presidency of Yanukovych.
