Vice-Premier of the region: Islamic fundamentalism Crimea is not threatened
The danger of Islamic fundamentalism in the Crimea is reduced to zero, said in an interview the Vice Prime Minister of Crimea Dmitry Polonsky.

"currently, in Crimea there is no danger of Islamic fundamentalism. In the Russian Federation are extremely strong special service. Extremist organizations are prohibited on the territory of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Crimea, respectively. For this reason, at the moment, the possibility of activity within the Republic of such organizations is reduced to zero, " said he.

Crimea and located on the Crimean Peninsula Sevastopol became the Russian regions after the referendum on 16 March 2014, when more than 96% voted for reaching these areas from Ukraine and reunification with Russia. The referendum was a reaction to the coup in Kiev on 22 February.
