Authorized USA and Ukraine will make a sightseeing Flight over the territory of Russia, Belarus within the framework of implementation of the international Treaty on open skies, told reporters the head of the Russian national Center on reducing nuclear danger Sergei Ryzhkov.

Flight will occur in the period from 30 March to 4 April 2015. American aircraft observations OC-135B will fly over the territory of Russia and Belarus.

"in the framework of implementation of the international Treaty on open skies the U.S. mission with the participation of commissioners of Ukraine plans to perform observation Flight over the territory of the group of States parties to the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation," said Ryzhkov.

The open skies Treaty was adopted by 27 States parties of the Organization for security and cooperation in the European Union in 1992 in Helsinki. Its goal is the strengthening of mutual understanding and trust. Currently parties to the Treaty on open skies are 34 countries. Russia ratified the Treaty on may 26, 2001.
