EU lobbying to allow broadcasting of the Crimean Tatar channel ATR in Crimea
Vladimir Dobrovolsky. The European Union is campaigning to allow broadcasting in Crimea Crimean Tatar TV channel ATR, ceasing operations in the night of Wednesday, reportedly in circulation, the official envoy of the head of European diplomacy Federica Mogherini.

"Crimean people deserve unfettered access to a diversity of media. We call for the immediate restoration of rights to broadcast ATR and full respect for the basic rights and freedoms of all residents of the Crimea ", - said the representative of the head of European diplomacy.

TV channel worked in Crimea due to licenses issued by the authorities of Ukraine. At the same time the RF law requires that you obtain a Russian license. Those media that do not, will not be able to continue working. TV channel stopped broadcasting on the night of April 1.
