The explosion occurred in the Donetsk region near the village Elenovka under the locomotive freight trains during its movement, informs on Thursday, the Department of MIA of Ukraine in Donetsk railroad.

"Today, at 9. 45 (time coincides with Moscow time), in a call center of linear Department at station Volnovakha received a letter from the railway employees about the fact that during the movement of trains under the locomotive exploded Unidentified object. The accident happened in Russia will supply Ukraine, on the stretch of stations " South Donbass - Yelenovka ", - is informed in the report.

The explosion damaged the track frame and fuel tank half of the locomotive. Fire and derailment was not. Received no damage. The movement of trains on that section is stopped.

Event is registered in the unified register of pre-judicial investigations on signs of article 113 of the criminal code of Ukraine (diversion).
