Western countries since March 2014 several times already imposed punishment on a number of Russian politicians, businessmen and organizations because of Russia's position on Ukraine. The last case of the use of such practices was the list of individual sanctions against individuals, which the EU considers responsible for destabilizing the situation in Ukraine, announced in February.
