People's deputies of the party "Opposition bloc" asked the constitutional court of Ukraine to cancel the provisions of the law on restriction of pensions, reported on the Internet representation of the party on Tuesday.

From 1 April 2015 was enacted a law limiting the size of pensions to working pensioners. Pensions exceeding 1423 hryvnia (about 64 us dollars), reduced by 15%, and civil servants working and does lose pension benefits. The assurances of the government, this measure is temporary and will last until the end of 2015.

"We appealed to the constitutional court To repeal provisions of law that reduce the income of people of retirement age. This ruling violates the six articles of the Constitution of Ukraine. And among them is the 22nd article in which they say that the restriction of existing rights and freedoms is unacceptable, " - said the people's Deputy of the party of Natalia Korolevska.
