The law banning communism later signed by Poroshenko
A law banning "the Communist and Nazi totalitarian regimes and their symbolism" sent for signature to the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, informs the website.

"The law sent to the President for signature(30. 04. 2015) ", - it is reported in the report.

The Ukrainian Parliament on April 9 passed the Law about the condemnation of the Communist and Nazi regimes ", banning their imposition and the use of public symbols.

The document caused a great resonance in society, because it has not been clearly written by the boundaries of its use. For example, on assurances of experts, under the ban could get not only the symbols of Communist power, but also, in particular, orders and medals of veterans on which they were painted. In addition, the society has a furious argument about the necessity of renaming a number of settlements named after events or figures of Soviet times.
