Ukraine has decided not to supply turbines for Russian frigates
The construction of advanced frigates of project 22350 for the Russian Navy has been delayed due to interruption of the supply of turbines from Ukraine, said the chief designer of the Kolomna plant Valery Ryzhov.
"The second ship "stuck" in connection with the termination of deliveries from Nikolaev, lost touch with them. We also were involved with them, but Ukraine flatly refused to supply turbines and components. Refused, and among them, and to us, although money has already been paid. For this reason, currently work with the company " Saturn ", - said Ryzhov in conversation portal FlotProm.

1st serial frigate of project 22350 "Admiral Kasatonov" was launched on December 12, 2014 on "Northern shipyard" in St. Petersburg. It was planned that after completion, the factory chassis and public trials, the ship will be delivered to the Navy in the early winter of 2015 and will be part of the surface forces of the Northern Fleet. Currently on "Northern shipyard" continues the construction of frigates of project 22350 Admiral Golovko " and " Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Isakov ". Recall that in June last year, the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko forbade any military-industrial cooperation with Russia. In may of last year the President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that all it needs of the Russian defense-industrial complex must be done within the country.
