The head the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine is confident in the U.S. unwillingness to make concessions to Russia
The U.S. "will continue to follow its strategic interests" and "will not compromise" on the issue of preserving the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, said the foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on the results of the Committee meeting of the NATO-Ukraine.
"I don't care that North America have the opportunity to ease the pressure on the Russian Federation and to make some concessions. I am 100% convinced that North America will pursue its strategic desire, namely, to maintain the independence of Ukraine ", - quotes Klimkin RIA " Novosti ".
"I didn't have the impression after talks with Secretary of state John Kerry and other members of the American delegation that North America will make concessions and will succumb to these questions. We understand the strategic direction of American policy ", - said Klimkin. Before Wednesday Klimkin said he agreed with U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry the results of his meeting with the Russian side in Sochi. Remember, the Secretary of state on Tuesday morning visited Sochi, where he held conversations with the head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
