Love couple lynched for extramarital relationship The villagers in Eastern India lynched a young couple that papadosio in extramarital relationships. This act magnified "honor killing", and is not considered for power rare. In this regard, the authorities are trying to enter for committing "honour killings" in the death penalty.

The conflict occurred in the village of Amethi in the state of Bihar in India. A young man named Jairam Manjhi from situated near the village was married to a young woman from Amethi. They had 3 children. However after arriving to visit family members, spouses, he fell in love with their neighbor, whose age is 16 years. After which they ran away from the village.

However soon they were caught and returned. There Panchayat, a Council of elders, handed down the death verdict. Lovers lynched mass of angry denizens, and their bodies were then cremated.

In this regard, the inhabitants of the village had been charged. "According to preliminary data, this case is represented by the "honour killing". Similar "honour killings" often happen in India. Usually, the victims are considered to be boys, have entered into a relationship with a woman against the wishes of the family or the caste system. The fairer sex also often become victims of honour killing, namely the result of rape, which, taking into account the opinion of the family of the victim, may bring her shame.

Indian authorities are making attempts to deal with the ruthless rule. In 2011, India's Supreme court recommended for "honour killings" in the death penalty.
