Transnistria has imposed special duties on milk from Moldova and Ukraine
The decision to impose special customs duties on dairy products from Moldova and Ukraine adopted Tuesday by the government of Transnistria, said the press service of the Cabinet.
The initiator of this decision, Deputy Minister of economic development Dmitry Boltrushko explained the need for the imposition of duties at the critical situation of the industry. According to his statement, due to the devaluation of the Ukrainian hryvnia Moldovan LEU imported Dairy products imported to Transdniestria, fell so that local products have become totally uncompetitive, reports RIA " Novosti ".

The report notes that the decision of the government to impose special customs duties on imported dairy products will equalize the price of imported and local products and make rules for fair competition.
