The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine: the Italian foreign Ministry reiterated its support for the Rome of sanctions against Russia
The foreign Minister of Italy Paolo gentiloni in the process on Tuesday in Rome meeting with the head of the Ukrainian foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin confirmed the full readiness of the government to continue the sanctions policy against Russia, informs a press-service of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

"the head of the Italian foreign Ministry confirmed the readiness of the government of Italy to continue the sanctions policy of the EU against Russia before the full implementation of the Minsk agreements, as well as in the future to provide Ukraine with full support, noting the importance of holding in our state further significant structural reforms," - said in the report.

The interlocutors reaffirmed the desire to start again the work of the Ukrainian-Italian Council on economic, industrial and financial cooperation and to conduct its regular meeting in October of the current year. Gentiloni Klimkin assured that in June the Italian Parliament will see the ratification of the Treaty of Union between Ukraine and the EU.

Relations between Russia and the West deteriorated in connection with the situation in Ukraine. At the end of July 2014, the EU and the US from point penalties against private individuals and organizations have moved to the measures against entire sectors of Russia's economy. In response, Russia restricted imports of food items from countries that have entered against her punishment: USA, EU, Canada, Australia and Norway.
