The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree obliging the SBU, the interior Ministry and the Ministry of defence of Ukraine to provide protection of objects of gas and electricity within the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and security in the export of resources from the territory of the self-proclaimed republics DNR and LC.

appropriate tasks identified in the framework decision of the Council of national security and defense of Ukraine SNBU) about the energy security of Ukraine. By signing the above-mentioned decree Poroshenko has put into effect these decisions.
