Former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen called on Western powers to think about the possibility of auxiliary supply weapons to Ukraine. According to him, it could come in handy when the situation in the country again destabilizing.

Discussions about the need to supply the Ukrainian military with Western weapons were extremely popular in the USA and some European countries, when the confrontation between Kiev and Donbass was in its acute stage. After the decision of the Minsk agreements has raised the possibility of a diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian crisis, on than constantly insisted the Russian side.

But some political forces, apparently, does not stop even before the threat to provoke a new round of hostilities in the Donbass, the Ukrainian military was in the hands of the NATO weapons. May be a representation, that not many members of world politics is ready for a peaceful solution to the incident between the population of Donetsk and Lugansk regions and the Central government in Ukraine.

He expresses the opinion that it will help Kiev, when the situation in the country will be destabilized again.

The Russian side was noticed that a similar decision would be wrong, as not only contrary to the Minsk agreements, but also carries within itself the real danger of escalation of tensions in the region. This, in the end, affects the security of the entire European Union.
