The EU assured that prolong punishment against the Russian Federation after July, said the head of Barack Obama at a press conference on the results of the G7 summit in Germany.

"Our European partners have confirmed that they will support penalties against Russia, as long as the Minsk agreement will not be fully implemented - this means their extension and after July," said Obama press conference which was broadcast by the White house.


Western countries since March 2014 several times already imposed penalties because Russia's position on Ukraine. The last case of the use of such practices were the limits imposed in March 2015, when expanded sanctions List of the USA.
