The law on the legal regime of martial law published on Wednesday in the parliamentary newspaper.

According to the text of the law it will take effect on a subsequent day After the date of its promulgation.

The law defines the content of the legal regime of martial law, the procedure for its imposition and lifting, the legal basis of activities of public authorities, military command, military administrations, local authorities, factories, institutions and organizations in conditions of martial law, guarantees the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, the rights and legitimate interests of legal entities.

in February, the Council of national security and defence (NSDC) of Ukraine were still blessed by the President Poroshenko to the draft law on introducing changes to the Law on martial law, which is required to bring it into congruence with the current situation in the country.
