Ukraine has made a proposal of the European Commission to restart the system of cooperation in the energy sector and to conclude a new Memorandum, said Wednesday the head of Department of European integration of the Ministry of energy of Ukraine Mykhailo BNO-Ayriyan.

"We suggest to reload the system of interaction between Ukraine and the EU in the energy sector and to conclude a new Memorandum," said BNO-Ayriyan.

He said that the previous document was signed ten years ago and does not meet today's agenda.

"Sure, the EU supports the initiative. Waiting for their answer and are ready to start the negotiation process, " wrote a representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of energy.
