The chamber of deputies of Italy ratified the Association agreement between Ukraine and the EU, said in his own microblog on Twitter foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.

"The chamber of deputies Italy only ratified the agreement on Association of Ukraine with the EU. There is still the Senate, but the ice was broken, " wrote Klimkin.


The crisis of political power in Ukraine began in the fall of 2013 because of a suspension by the government of former President Viktor Yanukovych's course towards European integration.

The new leader of the country Petro Poroshenko signed ratified by the European Parliament and Ukrainian Rada of the Association agreement with the EU. However the main part of the free trade area has been delayed until 2016 because of concerns about the Russian Federation a possible influx of illegal items from the EU through Ukraine. At the same time, Ukraine hopes to get a visa-free regime with the European Union.

Kiev hopes that all countries ratify the EU Association agreement with Ukraine before the end of the current year.
