Austrian oil and gas Concern OMV is developing a pipeline Project to supply gas from Russia to the European Union, bypassing Ukraine, informs referring to the sources familiar with the situation.

The project of the Nabucco gas pipeline was closed in 2013. In the European Union was obliged to supply gas from the Caspian sea via Turkey and the Balkans, bypassing Russia. Two years later it turned out that the Project was buried too early, according to the publication. However, the new Nabucco will make a big difference: in the European Union does not flow of Caspian and Russian gas.
