Shoigu urged to prepare for the worst The armed forces of Russia and the countries of Central Asia must be prepared for any course of events in Afghanistan, said the Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. Interaction with Kyrgyzstan on this issue remains a priority, he added.

The number of sources of tension generated worldwide continues to increase. Sometimes they threaten the security not only of that realm in which you dwell, but to the whole region or even the whole world.

Some potentially dangerous areas are in the vicinity of Russian borders. Namely, attention military control required by the situation prevailing in Afghanistan.

To be able to influence the situation in the region, Russia closely cooperates with other States. "Cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic in the military sphere considered as a priority. Our cooperation is deemed essential to the conservation of stability in Central Asian region", - quotes the Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu RIA Novosti.

With all this, both States have to prepare for the development of events in any scenario. Shoigu recalled that Russia is helping Kyrgyzstan to strengthen the national army to "be ready for any scenario in the course of events, even bad".

"To achieve the desired result, we consider it necessary to increase the combat capabilities of the joint Russian military base and Armed forces of the Kyrgyz Republic... contracts for the transfer of the Kyrgyz side modern Russian weapons and equipment, they supply", - said the leader of the Russian defense Ministry.

Also, in higher educational institutions of the Ministry of defense gratuitously provides training for the Armed forces of Kyrgyzstan. All of these efforts, no doubt Shoigu, "will allow us to create loyal defence capabilities, able to confront the challenges and threats to the security of our countries".

Russia is actively engaged in strengthening their own southern borders together with the modernization of government of the armies of the Central Asian countries and conducts large-scale exercises in connection with concerns about the course of events in Afghanistan. The Western allies are going to the end of 2016 to bring out all available troops, and that during the whole time of their stay there international forces failed to eliminate the threat posed by terrorist groups.
