The Prosecutor General's office of Ukraine has revealed a number of violations by the border guards at the detention Residents for illegally crossing the border.

"Bodies of Prosecutor's office revealed numerous violations captured when using the staff of the state border service measures to restrict the personal freedom of Residents for administrative violations ", - informs the General Prosecutor's office of Ukraine on Tuesday.

according to her, during the current year Employees of the border tied more than 4 thousand people, most of them for acts of administrative violations related to illegal crossing of the state border. Prosecutors had to respond to numerous complaints from Residents about violations of their rights in administrative detention, delivery, and use of other coercive measures restricting personal freedom.

"employees violated rights of the arrested who were in temporary detention and special facilities in regard to the lawfulness of their placement in institutions, timeliness of content, provision of adequate conditions, clarification of rights and so forth ", - is informed in the report.

in addition, the evidence found groundless detention of citizens and foreigners, unlawful delivery in bodies of state border protection and detention without registration of the relevant detention records. Also during detention violated the requirements of the law concerning mandatory and bestlocation notification of relatives captured on the place of their stay.

Ukrainian Supervisory Ministry Also recommended the improvement of the rules of detention of foreigners and stateless persons in temporary detention.
