The population of Ukraine in one year dropped to 155 thousand people - up to 42, 85 million people, informs on Tuesday, the state statistics Committee of Ukraine.

Data are for the period from April 2014 to April 2015. On may 1 of last year the Population was 43 million people (Data are already excluding the Crimea and the area of special operations in the Donbass).

on may 1 this year - 42 854 million 106 thousand compared with the previous month - March 2015 - the country's Population decreased by 19, 4 thousand people.

Thus, according to the information received Department of statistics, the Population has been declining in the period from 2010 to 2015. So, on may 1, 2010 the population was 43, 5 million, then declined, while in 2014 reached 43 million people and this year reached 42, 8 million Inhabitants.
