UN: record number of documented immigrants in the world in 2014
More than 60 million people - a record number in recorded history - had to leave their homes because of war, conflict and persecution in 2014, according to the report of the high Commissioner of the United Nations on Affairs of immigrants, released on Thursday.

According to the report, in 2014 the daily number of immigrants, displaced persons or persons in need of political asylum has increased by 42, 5 thousand people, which is four times more than in 2010.
