Miller and Dacic discussed gas supplies to Serbia by the " Turkish stream "

St. PETERSBURG, 18 Jun - RIA Novosti/Prime. The head of "Gazprom" Alexey Miller and 1st Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Ivica Dacic at the meeting at the St. Petersburg international economic forum discussed gas supplies to Serbia by the " Turkish stream ", according to a press release from Gazprom.

in the process of meeting they spoke about the export of gas from Russia to Serbia. The parties discussed the supply routes after 2019, when the contract on gas transit through the territory of Ukraine. For example, the negotiators discussed gas supplies to Serbia in the pipeline " Turkish stream ", stated in the release.

The project "Turkish stream" involves the construction of a gas pipeline with a capacity of 63 billion cubic meters of gas per year from Russia to Turkey across the Black sea. The pipeline length of about 1100 km will consist of 4 strands and bring to the Turkish-Greek border to 47 billion cubic meters of gas. It is planned that on the border of Turkey and Greece gas hub will be created, and EU countries are obliged on their own to implement gas transmission capacities for the further reception of this gas on its territory.

in 2014, Gazprom supplied Serbia with 1, 5 billion cubic meters of gas. In 2013 signed a long-term contract for production and delivery of gas from Russia to Serbia in the amount of up to 1, 5 billion cubic meters of gas each year for 10 years.
