The draft resolution on the appointment of local elections tabled in Parliament
The Committee on local government almost entirely contributed to the Verkhovna Rada a draft resolution on the appointment of local elections in Ukraine in 2015, notified on the Internet office of the Parliament.

The text of the draft resolution "on appointment of regular elections of deputies of local councils and rural, settlement, city heads in 2015" until not posted. He was prepared and made 14 of the 16 members of the Department - except faction Ivan Baloga and former the head of the Kharkiv Mikhail Dobkin ( "the Opposition bloc" ).

According to the Ukrainian Constitution, elections to the local self-government bodies are obliged to take place on October 25.

before the Verkhovna Rada adopted in first reading the draft law on local elections, which stipulates that regional, city and district councils will be elected by a proportional system with open lists, and village councils - by the majority system in the majority in single-member districts.

Today in the Ukrainian legislation written rule about mixed proportional-majoritarian system of elections to local councils on the basis of closed party lists. Ukrainian politicians before criticized her for the fact that such a system creates fertile ground for bribery of voters, political bribery and the use of administrative resources.

Signed in February the Minsk agreement on the settlement in the Donbass involves the holding of local elections here in a format that Kiev and Eastern Ukrainian self-proclaimed Republic is obliged to agree after completing the withdrawal of heavy weapons from the contact line. Kiev have said before, that the withdrawal of troops is completed, although the OSCE has not expressed consent. After the local elections is obliged to decide on the restoration monitoring of Ukraine on the border with Russia in the Donbass, Kiev makes this question particularly important.
