The Minister of energy and coal industry of Ukraine Volodymyr demchyshyn considers it necessary to make a cartel to manage the Ukrainian gas transportation system (GTS) involving organizations from Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in September last year signed a law that allows the government to make the operator of the GTS of the country in which to 49% will be able to get investors from the US and the EU. The document also provides that the operating company will be entitled to a management or concession and lease of gas pipelines and underground storages.
