Poroshenko: EP President Schulz on 3 July, will visit Ukraine
The head of the European Parliament Martin Schulz will visit Ukraine next Friday on the occasion of the anniversary of the signing of the economic part of the Treaty on the unity between the EU and Ukraine, said the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

Ukraine and the EU signed on 27 June 2014 in Brussels, the economic part of the Treaty on the unity involving the development of a free trade zone.

"Twenty of the 7th of June marks a year, is the celebration of the 3rd number we come to the head of the European Parliament Martin Schulz, He's a great friend of Ukraine, with whom we 16 September organized the simultaneous ratification of this agreement by the Verkhovna Rada and the European Parliament ", - said Poroshenko in conversation Ukrainian, aired on the last working day of the week.

According to Poroshenko, 21 of 28 ratified the Association agreement. He noticed that the ratification process is " 3 times faster than foreseen ".

The crisis of political power in Ukraine began in the fall of 2013 because of a suspension by the government of former President Viktor Yanukovych's course towards European integration.

The new leader of the country Petro Poroshenko signed ratified by the European Parliament and Ukrainian Rada of the Association agreement with the EU. However the main part of the free trade area has been delayed until 2016 because of concerns about the Russian Federation a possible influx of illegal items from the EU through Ukraine. At the same time, Ukraine hopes to get a visa-free regime with the European Union.

Kiev hopes that all countries ratify the EU Association agreement with Ukraine before the end of the current year.
