The program for the resettlement of residents from Donetsk shelled areas to safer places is under negotiation with the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk national Republic Alexander Zakharchenko, told reporters the Mayor of Donetsk Igor Martynov.

"Today was a meeting with the Minister of housing and construction under the resettlement programme, which we will coordinate with the head of the country," he said.

Also Martynov added that the city Authorities took advantage of the lull to prepare places for resettlement.
