Councillor Duda: Poland will take a tough stance on Russia
New Polish administration will take regarding Russia's strong position and strengthen cooperation with NATO, said in an interview to Reuters Councillor elected President of Poland Andrzej Duda on international problems Krzysztof Mersky (Krzysztof Szczerski).

Mersky noticed that Poland will continue its policy of helping to increase the presence of NATO troops in the country, despite claims to the capital of Russia about the fact that the stationing of weapons of NATO on Russia's borders will lead to the violation of the Founding Act with NATO from 1997.

The adviser said that this Treaty has to be revised, because the circumstances that limit the presence of NATO in the European Union are no longer relevant.

Poland will work to strengthen military cooperation with the United States, and the speedy establishment of a common Polish-American military bases in the country, said Merski.

He also said that the Polish authorities will work on the establishment of visa free regime with Ukraine, and will defend the right of Kiev to join NATO and the EU.
