France has rejected the anti-Russian resolution France, Switzerland and Armenia refused to vote on an anti-Russian resolution at the plenary meeting of the annual session of the parliamentary Assembly (PA) of the Organization for security and co-operation in Europe (OSCE), held in the Finnish capital.

They explained this step by the absence at the meeting of the Russian delegation. It comes proposed by Canada and Ukraine resolution (N 15 additional points prepared for the session) On continuing undeniable, gross and uncorrected violations of obligations by the Russian Federation in the scope of the OSCE and international standards." There, in particular, condemned Russia's actions in Ukraine.

"The decision situation must be based on dialogue, but it requires both sides. In consequence, we decided not to take part in the vote," said a member of the French delegation Alain Neri.

The same position was taken by the delegations of Armenia and Switzerland. In the Italian delegation, in turn, has declared that it is impossible to discuss the project, "without giving the defendant the power to justify it", stressing that in the absence of the Russian Federation, these actions actually deny the existence of democracy in the West, reports TASS.
