The U.S. assistant Secretary of state on European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland have discussed with the Secretary of the Ukrainian Council of national security and defense Oleksandr Turchynov issues of cooperation between pairs of countries in the sector of security and defense.

As notified on the Internet office of the Council, the meeting Nuland and Turchynov was held in Kyiv on Wednesday.

first it was claimed that Nuland will visit the Ukrainian capital on 15-16 July, during the visit she plans to hold a series of meetings with senior Ukrainian officials, politicians, business representatives and public figures.
