The smartphone will detect the presence of depression U.S. experts found that the depressed person is allowed to diagnose on the basis of data from his phone. It turned out that the phone is much more objectively evaluates the emotional state of the individual than she is.

Scientists Medical school Feinberg concluded that the information acquired from the user smart phone with great precision may find the presence of his depression, reports the Sydney Morning Herald. It is noted that the phones and this emotional disorder not contact the 1st time. However, American scientists were the first who proposed to use the smartphone as inert apparatus for diagnosis.

Within experience specialists within 2 weeks watched the phones 28 users aged 19 to 58 years with the support of a particular application. They monitored the traffic and how much time they spend for the gadget throughout the day. Along with this, all study participants filled out a questionnaire on the presence of signs of emotional distress.

In the end, it turned out that depressive subjects, on average, used their phones 68 minutes per day. At the same time, healthy people spend on a smartphone about 17 minutes per day. In addition, the experiment showed that the subjects in depression attended up much less space than the healthy participants.

"People suffering from depression usually don't go anywhere, because they have reduced motivation. In the upcoming, the experts intend to increase the study to a sample of 100 people, which will follow in six months.
