A detachment of ships of the black sea fleet in the composition of the missile cruiser Moskva, the patrol ship "Inquisitive", rescue tug "Shakhtar" and the tanker "Ivan Bubnov" came to the Eastern part of the Atlantic ocean for exercises, reports TASS. As told by the official representative of the black sea fleet chief captain rank Vyacheslav Trukhachev, one of the main elements of the exercise was a naval battle.

During the crew of the cruiser "Moscow" performed missile firing main complex at a target simulating a surface ship. It is reported that cruise missile successfully hit the target. In addition, was tested and organization of air defense. During this military exercise, the cruiser fired at an air target missiles, anti-aircraft missile complex "Fort" and ship artillery.

The crew of "Inquisitive" also had a successful artillery fire at surface and air targets. "For impartial monitoring of the effectiveness of shooting was involved helicopter KA-27PS deck aircraft cruiser "Moskva" - said Trukhachev. Missile cruiser "Moskva" was built at the shipyard named after 61 Communards in Nikolaev under the name of "Glory". Later he inherited the name of a decommissioned anti-submarine cruiser, and became the flagship of the Russian black sea fleet.
