Groisman awaits in the last month of summer the conclusions of the COP on the draft changes to the Constitution
Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman hoping to get to the end of the summer the conclusions of the constitutional court (CC) on the draft changes to the Constitution to decentralize power.

Proposed by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko the changes provide that the special status of certain regions of Donbass will be determined by a separate legislative act. The procedure in case of positive opinion of the court, the deputies will consider the draft in the process of 2 sessions: for adoption on first reading need 226 votes in the 2nd - a minimum of 300 votes.

"I think around the end of summer (a COP). The timing all depends on the constitutional court, " - said Groisman at a press conference on Thursday.

One of them, according to the calculations can be spend at the end of the summer. Second - according to the calculations may be carried after 1 September, when will be opened the next session, " added the speaker of the Rada.

The head of the Parliament also pointed out that the draft changes no special status of Donbass.

There is only mention of the adopted law, which has the title " about the peculiarities of local government in certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions ". This law fully meets the territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty of our country, " - said Groisman.
