Media: built for the security of the G7 summit wall cost 2, 2 million euros
The construction of a wall around ELMAU castle in the South of Germany, erected for the security of the summit " the big seven ", at a cost of 2, 2 million euros, reports the DPA news Agency referring to the messenger of the local authorities.

This amount encompasses the construction, maintenance, Price of materials and dismantling of temporary construction facilities. The price of one meter of the wall amounted to 285 euros.

Wall length 7, 7 kilometers had to protect the participants of the meeting of heads of the countries "big seven" from the possible aggression of the protesters.

- Germany, USA, Canada, France, Italy, Japan and the UK - took place in the Bavarian castle ELMAU June 7-8. Russia, which was adopted in "seven" in 1998, with 2014 in fact excluded from participation in the meetings of the group because of the events in Ukraine.

demonstrations of dissent against the policies of the " big seven ", organized by the Association STOP G7, were started in Munich on 4 June. In demonstrations and solitary pickets, held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, close to which stands the castle of ELMAU, participated at least several hundred people. According to the Agency, storm the castle, the demonstrators have not tried.
