Information about the ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych in the database of Interpol at the time removed in connection with the appeal Yanukovych and his lawyers international investigation, notified on the Internet office of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Yanukovych was elected President of Ukraine on 25 February 2010 for a five year term. However, on 22 February 2014 in the country there was a coup. Yanukovych was forced to leave the country. After the coup d'etat fresh authorities instituted a number of criminal cases against former bureaucrats.

The General Prosecutor's office suspected Yanukovych on the establishment of an illegal organization. The head of the Ministry of justice of the Russian Federation stated that he had not received the documents for the extradition of Yanukovych to Kiev.

on the Internet office of the Interpol have any information about the investigation of Yanukovych, his son Alexander and a number of bureaucrats from the environment of the former President. States that the judicial authorities of Ukraine wanted the former head of the country " for criminal prosecution or serving of retribution.
